Mission and Vision Statement
Paw Prints Dog Sanctuary and Canine Corps have a two-fold mission.
Part of that mission is to give a loving home to Central Pennsylvania's
senior dogs, either until a forever home is found or to live out their
lives in a peaceful and safe setting. We define senior as approximately
10 and over. Seniors with disabilities and or illness are welcome here.
Exceptions to these guidelines will be made on a case by case basis.
Currently
our main focus (eighty percent of our "guests" are the
"buddies" of deployed Pennsylvania military personnel) is to
provide a no charge "home away from home" for the dogs of deployed
Pennsylvanians. This will allow those service members to be assured
that their canine buddy is safe while they are gone. In addition,
Paw Prints Dog Sanctuary and Canine Corps will establish a no
charge lodging facility to allow for visits by members of our armed
services who need some peace and quiet. They can come to this
tranquil setting to relax and enjoy the company of dogs.
Our vision is to provide peace and comfort for these animals while they
are in our care and to create an environment that feels like home.
