Duchess - January 1, 2012

Duchess

Miss Haley - December 2012

From her foster mom: Many of you did not have the fortune of meeting Miss Haley. She was the first dog to be under the care of Paw Prints Dog Sanctuary. She was a sassy little Beagle on wheels. Due to a back injury, she maneuvered around, causing chaos, in her cart! She was feisty and full of fun. She adopted out to a very loving man who treated her in the style that she felt she deserved, like royalty! He loved her to pieces and is terribly heartbroken.

Lucky - August 2010

From his family: I cannot begin to express the profound sadness and grief we are experiencing following the loss of Lucky, after his brief fight against a brain tumor. Lucky had such a unique personality and was full of warmth and love and he will be missed tremendously. Though Lucky was with us for only a short period, we are thankful that we were able to have this time with him.  He brought so much happiness and laughter to our home and we will treasure our memories of him forever. We will love and miss him always.

Ebony - August 6, 2009

"The sadness in the loss of Ebony is exponential because I have lost someone that I know loved me." - Kevin McCartin
"You will always be our special girl" - Laurie Lyon
"Miss Ebbie, In such a short time you were able to set 'the standard' for what it is to be a companion and loyal friend. You will forever hold a piece of my heart." - Holly Dupont

Ranger - August 1, 2009

Ranger was owned by Sergeant First Class Roger Daub of the Pennsylvania National Guard Stryker Brigade. Ranger died from an agressive stomach cancer that attacked his organs. He is greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. If you would like to see pictures of Ranger's stay at the sanctuary, click here.

Corey - July 10, 2009

After spending nearly a year at Paw Prints, Corey found his forever home... with Shadow's family! They cared for Shadow very much, and after having him in their lives for such a fleeting moment, they wanted to help another dog at Paw Prints. Corey was very lucky to have such wonderful owners, and he will be cremated and buried at the sanctuary next to Shadow.

Blondie - February 3, 2009

Blondie came to Paw Prints in August 2008 and stayed until she was adopted.
From her family: "Blondie was a wonderful girl and she fit in with our family right away. She enjoyed exploring in the back yard with the other dogs. She was always close by and would sit next to me and put her paw on my knee. She had beautiful, soulful eyes. She loved to be be petted and brushed and liked snuggling next to us. Her favorite spot to sleep was on the sofa or a chair on a quilt. Even though we only had her a month, she is dearly missed."

Casey - December 11, 2008

Casey decided to leave us on Thursday after giving us fourteen months of his inimitable companionship. He is with his other 'buddies' in a place where only good dogs deserve to go.

Dempsey - November 21, 2008

Dempsey was owned by Julee Dugan, a HazMat specialist contracted to work in support of the Navy and Marines in Iraq. A relapse of cancer caused him to leave this world, but he will never leave our hearts.

Shadow - October 1, 2008

Shadow came to Paw Prints on June 8th, 2008, after being surrended by a very loving owner who could no longer care for Shadow due to illness. In September, Shadow was adopted out to a forever home. After only a few short weeks with his new family, Shadow passed away on October 1st, 2008. He is deeply missed by all. His ashes will be buried at the Paw Prints Dog Sanctuary.
